Klocwork 2018.3 Release

There have been further advancements to the analysis engine to enhance and improve Klocwork’s analysis of C++ 11, C++14, and C++17 language features on Windows and Linux platforms, improving analysis accuracy and developer productivity. Support for AUTOSAR C++14 has been expanded and now includes a taxonomy that covers the 18-03 release of the standard. These are in addition to the improvements to supported compilers, checkers and taxonomies. For full details, you can see the release notes here. Klocwork 2018.3 is qualified to be used in safety-related software development according to IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and EN 50128.

Klocwork 2019 is set to be released in the coming weeks.

New Integrations

Support for the EB Corbos Build System

Thanks to recent work led by Emenda, the Elektrobit Corbos build system is now supported by the Klocwork static analysis solution.

The Klocwork automated build capture system, which guarantees that the static analysis results produced by Klocwork are always with respect to the build environment; compiler defines, include paths and include file order. This ensures that the Klocwork analysis results are always accurate and up to date with no need for complex and error prone compiler configuration definitions.

JetBrains CLion Plugin

Developed by Emenda, the new Klocwork CLion plugin allows you to analyse your C/C++ code within the CLion IDE. Features include: continuous analysis, managing issue status, issue help text, traceback, issue details and issue view. For more information, contact us or take a look at the website post.

Bazel Support available

Recently, we have seen Bazel become increasingly popular with many of our customers. As a result, we’ve developed support between Klocwork and Bazel. Please contact us if you require any assistance integrating Klocwork with Bazel.
